Jura, it is a limestone massif with superb rivers. About 1h30 from Lyon, 2h from Grenoble, 1h30 from Dijon and Besançon, it is a wonderful place for outdoor sports. Birthplace of cross-country skiing, it is also a land where everybody enjoy the gastronomy when winter is coming.
The canyons :
First time experience in canyon or aquatic wandering:
They are perfect for a first time, for children or in family. Theses rivers don't need a rope but it would be a shame not to try the different techniques of canyoning.
