Via Ferrata : Loire

Only 15 min from Saint-Etienne, 1 hour from Puy en Velay and Lyon, here is the Pilat massif with its Gouffre d'Enfer (“Hellgulf”), a well-known climbing place in Loire that is still growing under the supervision of the FFME Departmental Comitee. On the same site, we find a climbing spot, two via ferrata and two “mountain paths”. It is nothing less than a breath of green air where the Stephanois (the inhabitants of Saint-Etienne)  and others come to escape from the stressing city's way of life.
